1) Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of this website and to inquiries, offers, and agreements relating to used vehicles and related services provided by Veritas Automobilhandel (“we”, “us”). Different or conflicting terms of customers apply only if we explicitly agree in writing.

2) Information on Vehicles & Listings

1. All vehicle information on our website (e.g., mileage, year, equipment, condition, previous owners, technical data) is provided to the best of our knowledge and based on information available at the time of publication.
2. Typographical errors, price errors, and unintended inaccuracies may occur. We reserve the right to correct such errors at any time.
3. Pictures may show optional equipment and may differ from the vehicle’s actual condition. Images are for illustration unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. Listings and website content do not constitute a legally binding offer. They are an invitation to contact us and request an individual offer.

3) Inquiries, Offers & Contract Conclusion

1. By sending an inquiry (e.g., via contact form, “Sell Your Car” form, phone, email), you do not enter into a purchase agreement.
2. A contract is concluded only when both parties agree on the essential terms (e.g., vehicle, price, payment, delivery/collection) and this is confirmed in writing (e.g., purchase contract) or the vehicle is handed over against payment as agreed.

4) Prices, Taxes & Fees

1. Prices shown are in EUR, unless stated otherwise.
2. If VAT applicability is relevant, it will be indicated in the individual offer or purchase contract (e.g., VAT shown or margin scheme, where applicable).
3. Additional costs (e.g., registration, export documents, shipping/transport, customs, inspections) are not included unless explicitly stated in writing.

5) Payment Terms

1. Accepted payment methods and payment deadlines are defined in the individual agreement.
2. Unless agreed otherwise, the vehicle remains our property until full payment is received.
3. If a payment is overdue, we may withdraw from the agreement and/or claim damages where legally permitted.

6) Vehicle Condition, Used Vehicles & Warranty

1. All vehicles offered are used vehicles unless explicitly stated otherwise. Signs of wear consistent with age and mileage are to be expected.
2. The legally relevant vehicle condition and scope of any warranty/guarantee are defined in the written purchase contract.
3. Any voluntary warranty/guarantee (if offered) applies only under the conditions described in the purchase contract and related documents.

7) Export-Only Vehicles (“As-Is” / For Export)

1. Vehicles marked as Export-Only, As-Is, or similar are sold specifically for export and typically in reduced condition/high mileage.
2. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, export-only vehicles may be sold as-is, meaning the buyer acknowledges the vehicle’s condition and accepts it as agreed in the contract.
3. The buyer is responsible for compliance with import/export rules, registration, technical requirements, and customs regulations of the destination country.

8) Test Drives & Appointments

Test drives are possible by appointment only and may require proof of identity and a valid driving licence. We may set reasonable conditions for test drives to protect vehicles and ensure insurance coverage.

9) Trade-In / “Sell Your Car” Submissions

1. Information you submit via the “Sell Your Car” form is used to evaluate your vehicle and contact you.
2. Any valuation or indicative price communicated by us is non-binding until the vehicle has been inspected and both parties agree on final terms in writing.
3. You confirm that the submitted information is truthful to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorized to sell the vehicle or act on behalf of the owner.

10) Liability

1. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence.
2. For simple negligence, we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties), and limited to foreseeable, typical damages.
3. Liability for damages to life, body, or health remains unaffected.
4. Where legally permitted, liability is excluded for indirect damages such as loss of profit.

11) Website Availability

We aim to keep this website available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, technical issues, or external factors may cause temporary downtime.

12) Intellectual Property

All content on this website (texts, images, logos, design) is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Use, duplication, or distribution requires our prior written permission unless permitted by law.

13) Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please refer to that page for details on data processing, legal bases, and your rights.

14) Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

1. These Terms & Conditions and any legal relationship with us are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
2. If the customer is a merchant (Kaufmann), a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is our registered business location, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

15) Severability Clause

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain unaffected. The invalid provision will be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the intended economic purpose.
